People lined the streets of Bridgeport Friday afternoon for the annual St. Patrick's Day parade.
Spectators and marchers were treated to a warm and sunny day.
Jimmy Feeney was the grand marshall.
He's been active in Fairfield's Irish American community for more than two decades.
Schools and bands from throughout the area marched.
"We have amazing marching bands, we have amazing pipe bands all the way from New London, we have some of the best pipe bands in the state of Connecticut, including our own Gaelic American pipe band, we have marching bands from all the high schools, we have Bunnell High School, we have Bassick High School, we are so pleased to have so many schools participating" says John Brannelly, financial secretary and past chairman of the Greater Bridgeport St. Patrick's Day Celebration Committee.
