A Stamford 7th grader is hoping that an event he organized will help save the lives of cancer patients in the future.
Justin Wexler teamed up with DKMS America, a bone marrow donor center, to hold a screening drive to add names to the registry of potential donors for patients suffering from various cancers, including blood cancer.
"It's saving a life and it was so close to me since my dad did it and I found out that my grandpa actually did it too, so I decided how, what a great thing it is to try to raise awareness for this great cause," says Wexler.
