The man accused of leading police on a chase that injured a Stamford officer appeared in court today for his second hearing since his arrest. Authorities say officer Troy Strauser pursued Frank Douglas after a robbery, eventually falling 20 feet onto an I-95 guardrail. Strauser has since been released from Norwalk Hospital. Meanwhile, Douglas' attorney says the charges against his client are excessive. Sources tell News 12 Connecticut that the suspect's family has made a donation to officer Strauser's family.
