Stamford EMS got into the Halloween spirit Sunday with a themed fundraiser.
The Run For Your Life fundraiser was a 3K run and walk that lapped around the fifth floor of the Stamford mall.
The nonprofit lost two ambulances in a fire in March. The goal of the event was to raise money to replace the trucks.
Eddie Browne, the Stamford EMS assistant chief says the vehicles, along with all of the equipment, costs around $200,000 each.
The event was originally scheduled for outside, but the rainy conditions moved the event inside.
