A Stamford family is asking for help paying for the medical care of an 11-year-old boy recovering from a crash that claimed his mother?s life.
Eric Bravo remains in the hospital weeks after the accident, unable to move or speak. The surviving Bravo family members have no medical insurance, only a small tin that sits in their kitchen. They hope to fill it with donations from the Stamford community.
Eric?s mother and father were bringing him to his first day of school when the accident occurred on Long Ridge Road in Stamford. Eric is unaware that his mother died in the same accident that left him in the hospital.
