Several towns across Connecticut are holding rallies ahead of Wednesday's planned House vote on the impeachment of President Donald Trump.
Stamford is one of three places in Fairfield County where #NoOneIsAboveTheLaw rallies are scheduled. That group began their event with the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence.
Despite the awful weather, demonstrators say it was important to be in attendance on what they call "Impeachment Eve."
"For there to be over 600 of these going on around the country is a very gratifying feeling, maybe we can in fact keep our democracy," says organizer Susan Singer.
President Trump has called the impeachment proceedings a "fantasy" and says Democrats are abusing their political power.
