A Stamford man accused of robbing a bank in the city earlier this month made his first court appearance today.
Prosecutors say Terry Barber, who was arraigned today, has a lengthy criminal record that includes several other robberies.
Barber passed a note demanding cash to the teller at the People's United Bank on Bedford Street, according to authorities. Barber allegedly got away with a small amount of cash.
Investigators say Barber was picked from a photo lineup by witnesses.
Barber allegedly told police he was off his medications at the time of the robbery.
