Stamford police are reportedly investigating a string of car break-ins.

"The Advocate" newspaper reports that several cars near an apartment building on Horton Street had their side-view mirrors broken early Thursday morning, and four more cars on Willowbrook Avenue had been broken into.

Police have not yet said what was taken.
