Police in Stamford have arrested a teenager following a brief chase with an alleged stolen vehicle.
It began Wednesday around 5:30 p.m.
According to a patrol officer, a Volvo station wagon was being driven recklessly off East Main Street.
The wagon ended up crashing into a SUV on Clovelly Road at Glenbrook Road.
Two people exited the vehicle and ran. A 16-year-old was arrested.
There was a family of four in the other vehicle, all of whom are expected to be OK.
Police say the station wagon was stolen out of Fairfield.
