State and local officials are getting the word out about an upcoming mortgage assistance event on Thursday in Bridgeport.
The event will feature more than a dozen lenders and housing counselors to help answer questions.
About 90,000 homeowners in Connecticut are facing foreclosure.
The event will be held on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Webster Bank Arena.
