State police beef up security outside courthouses
State police say extra troopers will be guarding courthouses across Connecticut this week.
This will be the second week of extra security requested by the courts, after police foiled a gang-planned shooting outside a Bridgeport courthouse.
Officials say they're still deciding whether to continue the outside patrols next week.
