State Police: Kolbe Cathedral High School bus crash on I-84 sends dozens of students to hospital

State Police say dozens of Kobe Cathedral High School students from Bridgeport were brought to multiple hospitals following a bus crash into a concrete barrier on I-84 in East Hartford.
The crash happened Monday on I-84 West around 1:20 p.m.
State Police say the bus of students was traveling on the Route 15 South ramp in the right lane when the bus driver attempted to make a left turn on the ramp, but crashed into the concrete barrier before crossing two lanes of traffic.
The school's principal tells News 12 there were about 35 students onboard the bus at the time of the crash.
Police say five students were transported to Hartford Hospital with possible injuries.
Six passengers were transported to St Francis Hospital with possible injuries.
Three passengers were transported to Connecticut Children's Medical Hospital with possible injuries, and three more were transported to Manchester Memorial Hospital with possible injuries.
State Police say the driver of the bus was found at fault and was issued an infraction for failure to drive in a proper lane.
