State police are going to be stepping up patrols on the roads over the holidays in an effort to catch drunken drivers.
Several DUI checkpoints are set up around the state, troopers will also be keeping an eye out for drivers who are speeding, using cellphones or not wearing their seatbelts.
Operation SANTA is an increased effort from now through New Year's Day.
Officials say SANTA stands for Stop Another Needless Tragic Accident.
