State police are on the lookout for drunken and distracted drivers over the Labor Day holiday weekend.
Police have said they expect more drivers than last year to travel on roadways such as Routes 25 and 8, so they also will be out in full force to make sure everyone stays safe and that traffic moves well.
AAA Mid-Atlantic expects more than 1 million people to travel at least 50 miles from home over the weekend, which police admit is typically a busy time of the year for them.
Police are also keeping an eye out for speeders and people who aren't wearing seat belts. Areas with lots of bars and highway entrances will get extra attention, according to police.
