A Weston man was struck by a car while running across I-95 in Stratford, police say.
The incident happened Tuesday around 6:13 p.m. in the southbound lane near exit 29.
Police say Robert Linver, 30, stopped his car in the right shoulder and got out for an unknown reason.
Investigators say Linver ran across the right shoulder lanes of traffic and was struck in the left lane by a black-colored Mercedes GLS 450.
After impact, Linver came to an uncontrolled final rest in the left lane.
Bridgeport first responders arrived on the scene, and Linver was transported to Bridgeport Hospital for life-threatening injuries.
It is unclear if the driver who struck Linver remained on scene or if they will face any charges.
