State officials are doing their part to help storm victims.
Families from Puerto Rico and the Caribbean islands that have been displaced will receive free assistance in Hartford.
The new Help Center for Our Caribbean Friends is scheduled to open on Wednesday.
Families relocating to Connecticut will have access to social services and job search assistance.
