A 22-year-old man walked into a hospital with a gunshot wound to his foot Friday, according to police.
Police say the man walked into Lincoln Hospital around 3 a.m. after telling hospital staff he had been shot in the foot on Washington Avenue and E. 169th Street.
The man explained to police that he heard shots being fired as he was walking along the street and then felt pain in his foot.
Police say the man walked himself to the hospital, and he is expected to be OK.
No arrests have been made, and police say they are still investigating.
