Group stabs teen 7 times on No. 4 train

A teen sustained multiple stab wounds in an attack on a northbound No. 4 train at the Mosholu subway station Wednesday.

Police say a group of 10 attackers shouted, "This is what you get for talking," as they knifed the 15-year-old victim seven times around 2:20 p.m.

The group also beat the teen with a cane, according to police.

Sources say the teen was the intended target in a possible gang-related confrontation.

The teen was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where he is expected to be OK, police say.
