Volunteers trying to revitalize Railroad Park
Volunteers came together Saturday to try and bring Railroad Park back to life.
The Bronx-based organization Dreamyard worked with veterans, kids and the entire community to start the creation of a mural at the 161st Street park, which has been neglected for almost 30 years.
The mural was prepped to be power-washed Saturday, and painting is set to officially start next week.
Organizers say they hope the mural will be completed by the end of July.
