Milford prepares for return of New Year's festival

Milford residents are getting ready to celebrate New Year's Eve with the return of a local festival.

Organizers are bringing back the city's New Year?s festival after a three-year absence.

Officials say a snowstorm in 2007 kept residents indoors and no tickets were sold.

Organizers say that they decided to hold the celebration again after requests from residents. They say the event will have fireworks, a hayride, magicians and a parade.
