Stamford police probe shots fired into apartment

Stamford police say they are searching for the gunman who fired shots into an apartment last night, barely missing the family inside.

It happened at the Southwood Square housing complex around 11 p.m.

Terese McClean says a bullet went straight through the bedroom window of her 15-year-old daughter, Thalia, minutes after the teen had walked out of the room.

McClean says her daughter left to put her 8-month-old sister to sleep.

Anyone with information is asked to call Stamford police at 203-977-4413.
