Norwalk police arrested a teenager Friday who they say was trespassing inside a home on Friendly Road.
Police say a friend of the homeowner entered the house and saw a trespasser. Responding officers say they found the 16-year-old boy inside, but he fled on foot.
After a brief chase that ended on Wolfpit Avenue, police caught the teen.
Police say he knows someone who lives in the house and entered through an open door.
He faces several charges, including criminal trespass, and has been released to a parent.
Police say they are trying to determine whether anything was taken from the home.
