Stamford police say a tip from the community lead to the arrest of a man they say went on a shooting spree Sunday.
Police say a SWAT team raided the Cedar Street home of Freddie Hicks on Tuesday.
They say the arrest was peaceful, but they did find a 40 caliber handgun they believe was used to fire 10 to 15 rounds at the VFW on Mission Street.
Officers say video from the scene as well as the Crime Stoppers tip line helped to find the suspect.
