Norwalk market offers free food for veterans
A Norwalk market was doing its part Friday to serve those who served our country.
Harbor Harvest was giving back to veterans by offering a free soup and sandwich to any veteran who visits them.
The three owners of Harbor Harvest on Cove Street say they're all veterans themselves, having served in the Army, Navy and Marine Corps.
They say this is the second year they've been feeding veterans and they take pride in giving to those who gave so much for others.
The Veterans Day offer was running through 8 p.m.
The owners are also raising funds for the Wounded Warrior project.
