Fairfield police said they need the public's help to find a driver who fled the scene after colliding with another car, seriously injuring its driver.
They were able to obtain surveillance video of the accident.
According to officials, the driver of a silver Nissan Rogue blew through a stop sign, struck a vehicle in oncoming traffic and then continued on without stopping.
The driver of the second car was transported to the hospital for evaluation.
A witness said that he chased the car that drove away, but could not catch the driver.
