Customers flocked to the Bass Pro Shop in Bridgeport Thursday to entertain their children while getting in some holiday shopping.
The Bass Pro Shop says it has been opening for limited hours on Thanksgiving for 40 years, and visiting the store has become a favorite tradition for thousands of families.
The store, which opened at 8 a.m. Thursday, features a carousel, shooting gallery and remote-control cars.
Kids and parents were also invited to take free pictures with Santa at Santa's Wonderland.
Parents who visited the store said they have been able to do their shopping while having some fun with their kids.
The store will reopen at 5 a.m. Black Friday. Santa's Wonderland will be open every day through Christmas Eve.
