Brick-and-mortar stores stay busy on Cyber Monday
Employees of an appliance store in Norwalk said they were still busy on the biggest online shopping day of the year.
The Aitoro Appliance Store saw increased traffic on their website this Cyber Monday, but the store's owner says that customers still want the service they get from coming into the store and being able to look around.
"Most people want to look at online, talk to one of our sales people and then come in and actually touch and feel it and that's what we offer," owner Vincent Aitoro says.
The store offers everything from TVs to washing machines to kitchen appliances.
On Black Friday, officials say people spent 21 percent more money online than they did the year before.
Aitoro employees also say they had a record Black Friday this year, and that they are hoping that momentum will continue throughout the month.
