Police find large meth stash at sober house in Easton
Easton police say a man is facing charges after he was found with $60,000 worth of drugs at a sober living house.
Police say they found a large stash of methamphetamine and Xanax at the house over the weekend.
Cavan Devine is facing a number of charges in connection with what the department calls one of the largest stashes of meth they have seen.
Police say they seized a pound and a half of meth and $10,000 worth of Xanax from Devine's room at the Nexus Sober House on Silver Hill Road.
One of the sober house's owners tells News 12 Connecticut that he found the stash and then called the police. He says Devine was removed from the house for failing a urine test
Devine's bond is set at $500,000, and the judge told him he can be released only if he goes into rehab.
