Fairfield police issue warning in wake of coyote attacks
Fairfield police are warning owners to keep a close watch on their pets in the wake of recent coyote attacks. Officials with Fairfield Animal Control say there have been five coyote attacks in less than six months. They believe that the coyotes may have a den on Mountain Laurel Road. The latest coyote run-in occurred last week. Authorities say coyotes are usually scared by loud noises and that anyone who spots them should contact their local police department.
