A Haitian man has reportedly filed a lawsuit against a Fairfield University graduate who is serving a 20-year sentence for sexually abusing children.
Douglas Perlitz pleaded guilty to sexually abusing children at a school he founded in Haiti, with help from Fairfield University.
The Hartford Courant reports 23 men now are suing Fairfield University, the Society of Jesus and others, claiming they did not protect the victims from Perlitz.
Each victim is suing for $20 million.
