Stamford police ID Custer Street shooting victim

Stamford police have identified the man killed in a shooting yesterday that also left three others hospitalized. Authorities say 21-year-old Darius Jones was fatally shot on Custer Street early Sunday morning. They say two men were seen shooting into a crowd, and that Jones had just left the home of a friend. The other victims were rushed to the hospital in serious condition. Police say Jones was recently released from prison in connection to a home invasion. They are unsure if that incident is related to the shooting. Anyone with information is urged to contact police at 203-977-4422.
