FEMA says 7,000 CT residents have applied

Officials with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) say more than 7,000 Connecticut property owners have applied for aid following Hurricane Sandy.

FEMA has given out about $4 million to people who were displaced by the storm.

Most of that is going to housing assistance, with just $200,000 going toward personal property loss so far.
