Parole hearing set for Michael Skakel
A hearing will be held next month to determine if Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel should be released from prison.
The state parole board says Skakel's first parole hearing is set for Oct. 24.
The former Greenwich resident is currently serving 20 years to life after being convicted in 2003 of murdering his neighbor Martha Moxley in 1975.
Skakel argued he should have been sentenced as a juvenile because he was 15 at the time of the crime.
