Arrest made in July stolen puppy case
A Bridgeport man is under arrest for allegedly stealing a $4,000 bulldog puppy from a Norwalk pet shop.
The incident happened in July at Puppies of Westport.
Police say Onnie Canady, 50, was arrested yesterday after he was released from jail for an unrelated case.
The dog had been recovered in West Haven and now has a new home.
