Stamford firefighters battle chemical fire

Stamford fire officials say they had their hands full with a chemical fire last night.

It happened at Palmer's Electric on Garden Street last night.

The fire was contained to one of the industrial ovens, which is used to put chemical coatings on electrical parts.

Firefighters say those chemicals made it hard to put out the fire.

They say there was no damage to the building and no one was hurt.
