Westport mobile home park to become affordable housing
A Westport mobile home park could soon be leveled and replaced with affordable housing.
Officials say the old, rundown trailers at Sasco Creek Village on Post Road East need to go.
Westport Planning and Zoning says the people who live in the mobile homes would likely have first choice of the affordable housing.
Funding must still be secured before any of this can happen, and officials say that could be more than a year from now.
