Bridgeport police say they are investigating the city's 17th homicide of the year after the body of a man was found early Saturday morning.
Officials say the victim's body was found on the corner of Washington Avenue and Calhoun Street. They say there were two gunshots in the victim's back, but that no shots were reported in the area and no shell casings were found near the body.
Friends say that man went by the name of "Keisha" and lived as a woman. They say he worked as a prostitute, but was also taking college courses for criminal justice.
Police have yet to release Keisha's real identity and have no motive or suspects at this time.
