Trumbull police are investigating after a man allegedly threatened a girl's life via text message.
Police say the 17-year-old girl was at a youth group meeting at Calvary Church on White Plains Road when someone sent a text to the girl's friend, saying that he intended to shoot her.
Bridgeport police and their canine unit joined Trumbull officers in their search outside the area where the meeting was being held.
Investigators say it appears the man may have met the 17-year-old on Facebook and possibly dated her.
