The state medical examiner has confirmed that the Old Greenwich man who set his house on fire Tuesday died of a gunshot wound to the head. Police say 42-year-old Dean Verboven intentionally set fire to his home on Havemeyer Place, with his mother inside. They say the woman, Barbara Verboven, remains in critical condition at Bridgeport Hospital.
