Police: Rollover crash downs power lines in Wilton

Wilton police responded to a rollover crash late Saturday night.

Officials say it happened just before midnight in front of the Cobb's Inn on Old Mill Road.

They say the 62-year-old driver was the only person in the vehicle at the time. Officials say he was hospitalized with minor injuries.

The crash took down some power lines in the area. Utility workers say a new utility pole has been installed to replace the one that was snapped in half after the accident.

Neighbors who live in the area say there have been many accidents on the road because it is winding and narrow.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
