2 injured in Norwalk hit-and-run
Police say a hit-and-run Wednesday night in Norwalk sent two people to the hospital.
The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Bedford and Van Buren avenues.
A female victim was flown to Yale-New Haven Hospital with serious injuries. The second victim, a man, was taken to Norwalk Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Authorities say it's too early to tell whether speed was a factor in the incident.
Police say they are searching for a gray BMW that was last seen driving south on Van Buren Avenue. The car's mirror was left at the scene.
