Tomorrow is the annual Walk for Wishes at Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport.
The event raises money for Make-A-Wish Connecticut so it can grant the wishes of kids with life-threatening illnesses.
The walk will be a bit of a homecoming for 4-year-old Ethan McGettigan, who is a Wish Kid.
He was diagnosed at the age of 2 with a huge brain tumor medically called an anaplastic ependymoma.
Ethan had a 16-hour surgery in October 2013 to remove the tumor. He went through 14 months of treatment, including 38 rounds of radiation and in-patient chemotherapy.
Ethan was the guest of honor last May at the Walk for Wishes fundraiser.
That's when Ethan learned he was getting his wish to go to Disney World. The family spent a week in Orlando, visiting Universal, Sea World and Disney.
