A word of warning to drivers in Fairfield and Easton about ongoing road work.
Fairfield First Selectman Mike Tetreau says the state Department of Transportation has begun a milling and resurfacing project on Route 59 and state Route 726.
Officials say the project will run from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for about two weeks.
They say no work is scheduled for Memorial Day weekend.
