17-year-old arrested in Greenwich after early morning car chase
Greenwich police have arrested a 17-year-old in connection to a car chase early Friday morning as they look for another suspect.
Police say they spotted a vehicle driving on Hamilton Avenue without its headlights on around 3:30 a.m. Officers identified the vehicle as stolen, and the suspects sped off.
The vehicle crashed by Indian Harbor and Museum drives and the suspects ran away, according to authorities.
The 17-year-old was found a short time later thanks to the help of K-9 units. He is being held on charges of larceny and interfering with a police officer.
Authorities say the suspect that is on the run stole a Range Rover and headed toward I-95.
