Metro-North back on track after stuck bridge
Metro-North officials say trains on the New Haven line are running on time or close to schedule this morning after a bridge malfunctioned Friday night.
Officials say a draw bridge got stuck in the open position, causing delays of up to one hour.
One man tells News 12 he was heading to Stratford from New York when emergency lights on the train started flashing and the conductor informed passengers they were stopping.
Metro-North officials say the bridge's mechanical difficulties also caused delays on the Waterbury and Danbury lines overnight.
