Man accused of violating protective order at Norwalk beach

Norwalk police say a man is facing charges this afternoon after he got into a fight at Calf Pasture Beach.

Police say Kyle Hyatt approached a softball team at field 1 and began arguing with some of the players just before 8:30 p.m. yesterday.

Police say the victim had some facial injuries that were not serious.

They say Hyatt is also facing charges for violating a protective order held by one of the people in the group he approached.
