After about a year of debates, students at Greenwich High School learned today that they'll be able to sleep a little later starting in September 2017.
On Tuesday night, the Greenwich School Board endorsed the idea of starting all schools in Greenwich between 8 a.m. and 8:45 a.m.
Greenwich High would probably start around 8:30 a.m
The move comes after two national medical groups recommended later start times, but the move has been controversial.
Several athletes and after-school participants said they're going to start their activities too late and aren't convinced this is a good idea.
