Senior citizen hit and killed in Bridgeport

A senior citizen was hit and killed in Bridgeport while standing outside his car Saturday night.
Officials say 81-year-old Gasper Estevez was struck near Arlington Street and Madison Terrace around 9 p.m.
They say the driver slammed into Estevez and kept driving.
Police say they are looking for a white SUV, likely with some kind of damage sustained in the crash.
Estevez's 91-year-old sister says her brother was visiting her and was in front of her house when he was killed.
"I raised my brother, I was 10 1/2 when he was born," she says. "I held him in my arms. I brought him into this country with a family myself."
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Bridgeport police.
