Police: Rise in speeding tickets from last year's holiday weekend
State police had more patrols on the roads this weekend for their annual holiday weekend enforcement blitz.
Police say they focused on aggressive and reckless drivers from Friday through the holiday.
They say as of Monday they responded to 275 accidents - two of them were fatal.
Troopers say 36 people were arrested for DUI.
And they pulled over more than a thousand drivers for speeding.
Compared to last year, the number of accidents with injuries is down - but speeding tickets are up in 2016.
