More than 1,000 kids learned about healthy living Wednesday in Bridgeport.
The kids took part in Healthy Kids Day at Seaside Park.
They played football and learned about all types of sports they may not have been introduced to before.
Organizers say many of the kids live in inner city neighborhoods and don't get the chance to be out in the open that much.
The kids also learned about good nutrition.
